About Us

Grace and Mercy Ministries is a 501 (c) (3) organization that is dedicated to serving the homeless, refugees and young adults that have aged out of the foster care system. We are a non-profit that is wholly supported by private donations and dedicated volunteers. We are motivated by Godly love and a desire to positively impact and change the lives of the least, last and lost.

The ministry seeks to meet the basic needs of these communities by providing food, clothing, furniture, household appliances, hygiene kits, and job assistance. The priority for 2021 is to significantly expand services by providing housing to those that have aged out of the foster care system. .

Grace and Mercy currently provides services in the Phoenix metro area with a long-term goal to expand into other geographic areas as funding permits.

Homeless Nutrition and Housing Program

Through the Nutrition and Housing Program, the Ministry serves 3,500 meals per week to the homeless at the St. Vincent de Paul Society’s downtown Phoenix location. Clothing, shoes and hygiene kits are distributed quarterly.

The goal for this program is to expand to include transitional housing for young adults aging out of the Foster Care system and the homeless.

Refugee Resettlement Program

The purpose of the Refugee Resettlement Program is outreach to the refugee community in the Phoenix metro area. Ministry volunteers visit refugee housing locations quarterly to distribute donated and purchased items, listed above, to help meet basic living needs.

This program will expand to include Refugee long-term and transitional housing in 2021.

Partners

We thank all of our partners without whom we would be unable to carry out our vision and mission of love.
